6 STEPS TO MINDFUL CANNABIS USE

1) SOURCE YOUR CANNABIS PRODUCT CONTAINING THC

This will require a trip to Greeley Gallery, or maybe a trip to your nightstand! By selecting cannabis goodies that contain THC, you are about to embark into a delightful and elevated headspace that the tetrahydrocannabinol molecule triggers in our brain.

2) FIND A COMFORTABLE QUIET SPACE AT HOME

We recommend making your space as comfortable as possible. Nestle into your favorite chair, maybe light a candle and some incense. Play uplifting music, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, anything that will surely make you smile.

3) SET OUT YOUR CANNABIS, A JOURNAL, PEN AND SUPPLIES FOR A SMALL ACTIVITY YOU CAN WORK ON POST-CONSUMPTION

We find that completing a hands-on activity after consuming cannabis helps to foster the focus and headspace for higher thinking. This might be something as simple as giving yourself a manicure, gardening, knitting, drawing or making music.

4) REMOVE ALL DISTRACTIONS

Now, we know this is wishful thinking for those of you with children. But this is important! Schedule it with your spouse, because a little you-time can go a long way. Put your phone away turn off the telly! We spend some much time tuning into what others are saying, but this exercise is about listening to you.

5) SIT AND CONSUME YOU CANNABIS

Start low and slow – there’s no need to overdo it or go too fast. Take a dose that has already proven to be comfortable for you, or was recommended by one of our highly experienced budtenders.

6) DO. BE. THINK. RECORD. BREATHE.

Enjoy your moment and embrace what you are experiencing. If you feel like it, try the tactile activity that you had selected. Most importantly, spend time with your thoughts. Try writing down any insights you gain while in this elevated headspace. You may find that cannabis allows you to face pending life uncertainties with greater ease and confidence. This exercise will help you feel more connected. Connected to what makes you happy. Connected to your joys and your purpose. Connected to yourself.
